Elaine Mills

Elaine Mills studied Fine Art at St Martin's in the late 60s, specialising in painting. For many years she made her living as an illustrator of children's books. She also taught and ran a small shop selling her own pottery and knitwear.

Now she is retired but enjoys taking part in themed exhibitions with WESCA. One of her portraits was unveiled in Tate Liverpool when the gallery first opened, and she is the winner of a children's book award.
